Google, NCERT Join Hands to Bring 'Digital Citizenship and Safety' Training to Schools

Google and NCERT have signed a pact to integrate a course on 'Digital Citizenship and Condom' in information and communication engineering science curriculum.
The integrated class will be implemented in more than one.iv million schools across the state from next bookish session in Apr 2018. Under this curriculum, the students (from Class I – Class XII) will be taught how to remain condom on the cyberspace. The schools will too implement structured classroom modules to teach the students almost social, ethical and legal aspects of internet safety.
The curriculum is designed keeping four themes in mind:
- Being Smart
- Being Prophylactic
- Being a Digital Citizen
- Existence Hereafter Ready

Talking to DNA during the official announcement, Sunita Mohanty, Director, Trust, and Safety, Google India said, "The curriculum is structured to match the intellectual and curiosity needs of the dissimilar historic period group of the children. For example, in lower classes, students will focus on engaging with engineering and learning the use of bones digital tools. In center classes, students will be introduced to basics of the internet, concepts of account safety and distinguishing good content from bad." She too noted that Google will not accuse anything for the training.
